Microsoft Word is one of the main tools you will use during your studies to create written assignments and other academic work.

The resources below will show you how to access Microsoft Word through your university Microsoft 365 account and introduce key features that can help you create, format and manage your documents effectively.

1) How to find MS Word on MS365

Step 1: Sign in to your Microsoft 360 account

Step 2: Go to App launcher (9 dot icon on the left side) and click

Step 3: Find the MS Word icon and click

Step 4: MS Word will open in a new tab on your web browser. The home page will look like this.

Step 5: Click on ‘Create blank document’. This will open a new word document.
