Library one-to-one appointments
Do you need help with using the Library? Would you like to build your research skills? If so, just book a one-to-one appointment with a member of the Library team!
Lasting 15 minutes and hosted online with Zoom, a one-to-one appointment allows you to explore topics tailored to your needs, such as:
- Finding academic sources
- Using databases
- Using research tools
- Navigating eBooks
Library workshops
Prefer to learn in a group setting? Our interactive online workshops are open to students of all levels, and cover topics such as using the Library, finding eBooks and journal articles, conducting research beyond the Library, and using accessibility tools.
Why not try booking onto your first Library workshop? We would recommend starting with An Introduction to the Library.
Access your module reading lists
If you’re new to Arden University, we strongly recommend looking at the reading lists for your modules.
These contain key texts, essential resources, and wider readings picked out by the academics in your school to accompany your studies.
You’ll find links to your reading lists at the end of each of your lessons on iLearn, and you can easily locate your reading lists on the Learning Success Hub website. Start by finding your first module’s reading list!
If you need some guidance, watch this quick video to learn how to access your reading lists:
