What support is available to improve my digital skills? (blended learning students)
Answer
Digital skills support for blended learning students
______________________
If you are a student who attends classes at one of our campuses, you may be able to access the following support:
1) Computer access and laptop loans on campus
If you're a blended learning student and don't have access to a computer, laptop, or tablet at home, then you can find support on campus.
Most of our campuses offer well-resourced student work areas, where you can work on our campus computers.
Blended learning students can also make use of our laptop loan scheme, offered on UK campuses, which allows students to loan a laptop for up to two weeks. You can read more about the scheme here.
2) Student Digital Skills Ambassadors - drop-ins and appointments
Students at Holborn campus have access to a team of Student Digital Skills Ambassadors.
These students can help you to get online and begin using essential digital tools and platforms.
If you are a Holborn student, you can request support from this team using this form.
3) Academic Skills Tutors - help with digital and academic skills
Your Academic Skills Tutors (on campus and online) can support you in developing a range of digital skills alongside other essential academic skills.
