Taylor and Francis Online is a comprehensive, multidisciplinary platform providing access to a wide range of scholarly journals across the arts, humanities, social sciences, and technology. You can explore leading publications covering a broad spectrum of academic disciplines.
How to search
Basic search
- Use the search bar at the top of any page.
- Enter keywords, article or journal titles, author names, or a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
- Click the search icon to view the results, then refine them further using the filter on the results page.

Applied filters
On the result page, you can apply filters such as subject, journal, publication date, and language.
You can modify your search by clicking the + icon to view additional options, then tick the appropriate boxes to refine your results. The page will automatically update each time you apply a filter.

Advanced search
Advanced search options allow you to refine your results and find out the most relevant matches for your query.
You can search by an author to locate exact matches, and use tools such as Boolean Operators, wildcards, parentheses, and proximity searching to build more precise searches. The literal phrases tool uses quotation marks for exact matches (e.g., "cloud computing").
To help you make the most of these features, Taylor and Francis provides a guide on Advanced search to support the development of your research skills.
