How to search

  1. Before you search, under Availability on the left-hand side, tick All content I have access to. This will ensure that only content that you can access appears in your results.

  2. Apply filters to refine your results.
    • Subject - select the subject area you are interested in (e.g. International Law). The number of articles in that subject area is displayed in brackets.
    • Type - select one or more source type. We recommend selecting Research Article to focus on scholarly journal articles.
    • Journal - select one or more journal titles.

Reading an article

When you open an article you will see reference information along with a set of action buttons. These allow you to:

  • read the article in PDF
  • use split view
  • cite the article
  • share it

►Important: Check Your Citations

Any citation generated on the platform should always be checked against the Arden University referencing guide for your subject. Automatically generated citations can contain errors, so make sure they match the guidance provided in your relevant referencing handbook.
