Gale Research Complete enables you to search across 15 collections, including:
- Gale eBooks (books and encyclopaedias)
- Gale Academic OneFile (journals, magazines and current newspapers)
- Gale Literature (English literature resources)
- Archives Unbound (primary historical sources)
How to perform a search in Gale Research Complete
Basic search
Focus your research Basic Search - Gale Research Complete
Keyword - for example, Public Health. suggested terms and phrases for our search.
The content is organised in 11 different categories.
Advanced Search
The advanced search option enables you to create a customised search query using a combination of search terms, fields, Boolean operators, special characters and limiters.
Advanced search allows you to search across different collections from the subscription by clicking on the Find a Specific Document box - Advanced Search - Gale Research Complete, or by clicking on the Advanced Search link below the search box.

You can also change how many collections are being searched; click on Select Collections, make any changes and Apply the Selections.
