Getting Started with Management Direct

Management Direct is the Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) learning portal, containing leader videos, best practice resources, articles and more.

All students enrolled on a CMI-accredited programme are given aooportunity to register for CMI membership. The invitation is sent by the Exams and Awards team via email. The invitation is sent approximately three months after enrolment.

If a student confirms that they would like to register, the Exams and Awards team forwards their details to the CMI. CMI then contacts the student directly with a welcome email, which includes their student membership number and guidance on next steps, including how to access their membership and the Management Direct platform.

The student manages their own membership access and credentials directly with CMI. We do not provide login credentials. Access credentials are issued by CMI.
