Arden University provides electronic access to Harvard Business Review (HBR) from 1922 to the present through Business Source Ultimate. It’s especially useful for students of Business Management, Finance and Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Supply Chain and Project Management, and MBA and Executive Education.

Harvard Business Review (HBR) is a leading management magazine that provides insights into key business topics such as:

  • Leadership and Strategy – How to lead effectively and plan for long-term success.

How to perform a search in HBR

  1. Use the Search within this publication feature to look up keywords, titles, subjects, or authors

  2. On the right side of the page, select the hyperlinked article year and issue, and then you should be able to find the article in the particular issue you selected.
     
  3. Refine your search. Use the Advanced search button to narrow your search by field combinations.
     
  4. Use quotation marks. Put article titles in quotes (e.g., "The Future of Work") for exact phrase matching.



     
  5. To access an article you're interested in, click the Access Options box beneath the title and publication info. It will give you an option to access the PDF. You can also use the More like this button option.







     
  6. In the tab that opens, you will be able to read, save, download, print, or share the article using the icons at the top right of the page, as shown below.
