Do I need to book a time drop in on the Academic Skills Tutor?

No! Check the dates and times that the assessment support is running on your campus and simply drop in with your quick questions.

Is the assessment support available to everyone?

Yes! This initiative supports all programmes and levels.

What can I get help with during the assessment support?

You can ask questions about any academic skills topics, including academic writing, referencing, research, planning, structure, and academic integrity.

What kind of support is available?

The support is drop-in only and you'll be helped by an Academic Skills Tutor. Because the support is drop-in, you can ask quick questions about your assignment and for some general guidance. If you have longer questions, you can book an Academic Skills Tutor appointment, which lasts 45 minutes.

Can I visit in a group?

Yes! But keep in mind that if different group members have different questions, then you may need to wait for your turn.
