Answer

How can I add images to my MS PowerPoint presentation?

________________________________

Adding relevant images to your presentation can help make your presentation look more professional and attractive. However, it's important to keep in mind that you should not add images 'just for the sake of it.'

Images should only be added for effect and if they are immediately relevant to the ideas being presented. Images that are not relevant can detract from the overall message of your presentation.

If you choose to add images, you must give their attributions, as in most cases you will not be their original creator. If you source images online, you must cite them according to the rules in your referencing guide

However, if you choose to use the images that are pre-loaded on MS PowerPoint, then you are not required to cite them.

We recommend using the pre-loaded images that MS PowerPoint makes available to you, as they are high-quality and you will not need to take time to cite them.

Where to find stock images on PowerPoint

You can find stock images on PowerPoint under the 'Insert' tab. Look for the 'icons' button.

Once you have opened 'icons,' select the 'images' tab. You can search for a particular theme, for example, 'health.'

To insert an image, click on it, and then select 'insert' in the bottom right-hand corner of the window.
