Can I download eBooks and journals and read them offline?

Answer

Most of the items in our Library collection can be downloaded so you can read them offline - perfect for when you're travelling, or just want to study without needing Wi-Fi.

Depending on the provider, there are a few different ways to get set up:

Kortext

Install the Kortext app and then you will be able to download eBooks for offline reading:

eBook Central and EBSCO

EBSCO eBooks and journal articles, and eBook Central eBooks can be downloaded and viewed offline using Adobe Digital Editions, which is free of charge.

Sign up for free here, then download the app from:

If you have any issues accessing either service, please don't hesitate to get in touch for help.
