Can I read eBooks and journals using my screen reader?
Answer
The Arden Library is committed to making sure our resources are as accessible as possible.
Our Library catalogue is tested with a range of screen readers to ensure compatibility and ease of use. If you're using NVDA or JAWS on Windows, or VoiceOver on macOS, the EBSCO Accessibility Navigation Guide provides helpful tips for navigating content smoothly with your screen reader.
For PDF documents, we recommend downloading them and opening them in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat. These applications tend to work best with screen readers, offering better navigation and readability.
Lastly, if you ever run into difficulties accessing any of the Library’s materials, please don’t hesitate to reach out - you can email us directly at library@arden.ac.uk.
